Years ago, I started noticing a trend in real estate that bothered me. Big teams were becoming the norm, and somewhere along the way, personal service seemed to be taking a back seat. It became more about the number of transactions, moving people through the process, and getting to the next closing than actually getting to know the people behind those transactions.
That's never been the way I wanted to do business.
When you decide to buy or sell a home, you're making one of life's biggest decisions. You're not just changing addresses. You're starting a new chapter, embracing a different lifestyle, and possibly becoming part of an entirely new community. That deserves more than being passed from one team member to another.
I've spent more than 25 years helping people navigate the Central Florida real estate market, and one thing I've learned is that no two clients are alike. I want to understand what matters to you, what you're hoping to accomplish, and what your next chapter looks like. Sometimes that means taking a little extra time, having a few more conversations, or looking at a few more homes. And that's perfectly fine with me!
I believe in giving my clients the benefit of my experience, honest advice, personal attention, and the confidence that someone is genuinely looking out for their best interests.
I've been fortunate to enjoy a very successful real estate career, but **I've never wanted my clients to feel like they're just another transaction.**
So, while my commercial may have a little fun with the idea of big real estate teams, the message behind it is something I take very seriously.
When you hire David Dorman, you GET David Dorman!
And that's not just a catchy slogan. It's how I've chosen to do business for more than two decades.
